Easy appliqué showcases wool felt embellished with free-form stitching and buttons. A foam stabilizer ensures the bag can stand on its own, and manufactured handles make finishing a snap.



Finished Size:11″ x 8″ x 3 ¼”
Fabric:

• Main: ½ yd canvas, outdoor fabric, wool or other mid- to heavy-weight fabric
• Lining: ½ yd quilting cotton
• Accent: Scraps of wool felt in coordinating colors

Required Materials:

• 1/3 yd foam stabilizer, 58″
• One 5 ¾” x 8″ rectangle heavyweight fusible interfacing
• 18″ purse handles with sew-on tabs
• ½ yard each of two colors rickrack, ¼”
• Six buttons, ½”
• Fabric glue, Embroidery floss
• Matching and contrasting threads
• Large darning or leather needle
• Spring clips
